Four houses were evacuated in Bergen after heavy rain triggered a series of landslides on the outskirts of Bergen on Sunday. On Sunday morning, emergency services rushed out to a landslide in a residential area in the Fana district of Bergen. A later update confirmed that over the course of Sunday, in total four houses were evacuated, with residents returning to three of them by Sunday evening, Brakstad said. "Initial assessments at the scene suggest that the landslide itself is not particularly large at this stage. Experts point to recent heavy rainfall as the cause, suggesting that soil moisture could cause further landslides in the area.
