As per the warning issued by the Meteorological Department regarding the heavy rains in Telangana, the Cyberabad Traffic Police on Thursday issued advisory to the citizens. They advised the organisations based in the city to make sure that 'work-from-home' arrangements are made whenever it is possible for them. They had sought permission to allow their employees to log out at around 2:00 PM on Thursday in a phased manner. The police clarified that their objective is to reduce traffic congestion and ensure that emergency services face no disruptions. Additionally, the traffic police advised the public to avoid venturing out unless necessary and to exercise caution while traveling during the rain.
