As polling paints an increasingly dire picture for Republicans’ midterm prospects, Fox Business host Cheryl Casone warned Tuesday that President Donald Trump’s agenda was under threat of being “effectively stopped” for the remainder of his term should Democrats retake control of Congress this November. “There was a recent Fox News poll that found that voters think that Democrats are better on the economy!” The Democrat Party is not the party of the 60s, 70s and 80s; they're a Marxist group, a socialist group, [and] we've got to stop them!” Norman continued: “If they win the midterms – and President Trump knows this – it's impeachment, impeachment, impeachment, and what a sad day for the country if this happens.” Casone concurred with Norman, telling the South Carolina Republican that should Democrats retake Congress, “the president's agenda will be effectively stopped for the rest of his term.”
