Thingamajig Theatre Company’s summer repertory season is entering its final weeks at the Pagosa Springs Center for the Arts, but tonight’s performance has a purpose that reaches beyond the stage. Aspen House is working to create a permanent residential home in Pagosa Springs for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, addressing an important need for local families looking toward the future. There is something particularly fitting about Fiddler on the Roof being the production chosen for the evening. Those ideas are very much at the heart of the work Aspen House is doing here in Pagosa Springs. Come From Away, Company and Fiddler on the Roof continue in repertory through August 29, leaving fewer than three weeks to see this summer’s productions.
