7.5 Consultation with Committee Management Secretariat on establishment of advisory committees; advisory committee charters. (b) Each NRC advisory committee shall function in compliance with the Federal Advisory Committee Act and this part. Presidential advisory committee means an advisory committee authorized by the Congress or directed by the President to advise the President. Amending any existing advisory committee charter does not constitute renewal of the advisory committee under § 7.7. (c) Official records generated by or for an advisory committee must be retained for the duration of the advisory committee.
