Police capture 5 suspects after robbery at Indianapolis jewelry storeINDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Indianapolis police on Monday afternoon found several people tied up in a jewelry store where robbers had taken more than $2 million in cash, jewelry and precious metals at gunpoint, leading to a police chase into Boone and Clinton counties. Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department was called at 12:55 p.m. Monday to a robbery in progress at the store in the 4900 block of South Emerson Avenue. An online search lists King Jewelers in Emerson Place Shoppes as the only jewelry store in that block. Minutes later, state troopers used license plate cameras to find the car near Lebanon in Boone County. The release did not name the suspects taken into custody.
