With more than two million Aussies now registered to use the service, Australia Post expanded its Parcel Locker network by more than 60% year-on-year, helping to grow its broader out-of-home network to more than 5,000 collection points nationwide. Australia Post is continuing to expand Parcel Lockers in convenient and accessible locations for customers, including Post Offices, residential precincts, shopping centres and transport hubs. Australia Post Executive General Manager, Parcel, Post and eCommerce Services Gary Starr said the surge in Parcel Locker usage reflects the changing way Australians live, work and shop. “With more than two million registered users and demand continuing to rise we’re focused on expanding our Parcel Locker network in convenient locations and strengthening the capacity needed to support Australia’s growing eCommerce economy,” Mr Starr said. Australia Post’s Out of Home network provides customers with access to more than 5,000 collection points nationwide, including over 1,500 Parcel Lockers.
