The limit will fall again to 47.5 feet (14.48 m) from September 3, the Panama Canal Authority said in an announcement on August 5. This will be the fourth and fifth draft adjustments announced by the canal authority. It said it will continue to monitor weather and water conditions before deciding on any further changes.
