Image Credit: KawasakiKawasaki Heavy Industries has delivered the 86,700 m3 LPG/ammonia carrier Lyla Pathfinder to Camel Maritima SA. The vessel is the 13th in Kawasaki’s latest series of LPG-fuelled LPG/ammonia carriers and can transport both LPG and ammonia, Kawasaki said in a statement on its website on Thursday. It has a larger cargo capacity than the company’s earlier 84,000 m3 LPG carriers, while retaining similar hull dimensions to allow access to major LPG terminals. Lyla Pathfinder is Kawasaki’s 20th vessel capable of running on LPG.
