Shooting on Indy’s east side leaves man in critical conditionINDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A person is in critical condition after being shot on Indianapolis’ east side Monday evening. According to Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, at approximately 7:16 p.m., officers were called to the 5800 block of Village Plaza South Drive on reports of a person shot. When officers arrived, they found a man with injuries consistent with a gunshot wound. He was taken to the hospital in critical condition. IMPD says they are working to gather information on the suspect and what led to the shooting.
