The XRP Ledger’s reference server software, xrpld version 3.3.0, is now available. These changes arrive as the network already hosts substantial volumes of tokenized real-world assets. Among the amendments is ConfidentialTransfer (also referred to as Confidential Transfers under XLS-0096). Under the XRP Ledger’s governance process, each requires continuous support from at least 80 percent of trusted validators for two weeks before it can take effect on the mainnet. Once the voting period concludes, the practical adoption of Confidential Transfers by existing issuers will provide the clearest test of the new capabilities.
