Promoter Ben Shalom is representing who he thinks could beat Ben Whittaker and become the next major star in the light heavyweight division. Whittaker is the current WBC Silver light heavyweight champion, most recently claiming a second round knockout win over Richard Rivera in June. Whittaker is set to return to action in October in an IBF world title final eliminator against Conor Wallace and his flashy in-ring style has been compared to that of ‘Prince Nas’, though the man himself disputes that. Speaking to The Stomping Ground, Shalom put his full backing behind his man Kraus to beat Whittaker if they were to fight soon. I believe I’ve got the best light heavyweight in the world.
