The diesel Land Rover Range Rover Evoque recorded the highest retail margin ever achieved in the sub-£10,000 model category (£4,050) on Dealer Auction’s Retail Margin Monitor. The Evoque also led the chart for models retailing over £10,000, with £5,250. In the sub-£10,000 category, the Land Rover Discovery Sport followed, only £100 behind. Dealer Auction’s marketplace director, Kieran TeeBoon, said: “The Range Rover Evoque setting a new retail margin record under £10,000 highlights the strong profitability dealers can still achieve with the right stock. In the over-£10,000 model chart, two hybrid models – the Toyota RAV4 and Nissan Qashqai – secured places in the top 10.
