According to the report, three medical facilities were shut down due to damage, with most of their patients transferred to other facilities. Meanwhile, at least 188 people were reported missing in the Valle del Cauca department after the quake, the radio station added. Another 100 people are missing in the city of Manizales. A magnitude 7.4 earthquake struck near the city of San Jose del Palmar in the Choco department on August 10, killing at least 132 people.
