On October 4, international CrossFit competitions, Fitness Games, took place at the indoor athletics arena of the Olympic Complex in Ashgabat. The sports event was organized by the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates in Turkmenistan with the support of the State Committee for Physical Culture and Sports on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Turkmenistan and the UAE. The ceremonial opening of the symbolic friendship games was attended by representatives of the State Committee for Physical Culture and Sports, heads of diplomatic missions accredited in the country, media representatives, and students. Winners of the Fitness Games received valuable prizes and gifts on behalf of the UAE Embassy. The diplomat expressed gratitude to the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the government for the steady expansion of interstate cooperation.
