The Delhi government said that it will not take any more adverse legal action against protesters over purported irregularities in the NEET (UG) exam.
The alleged violence that occurred during the Cockroach Janta Party's (CJP) "Chalo Sansad" march from Jantar Mantar on July 20 prompted police to pursue charges against people they believed to be involved.
Using CCTV footage, Delhi Police were able to identify 2,873 individuals who reportedly attacked police officers and vandalised cars during the CJP Chalo Sansad march.
A press release from the Home Department of the Delhi government states that Delhi Police have filed 13 complaints in relation to the NEET protests that took place in the nation's capital.
The protest took place after the NEET (UG) exam was scrapped due to claims of extensive violations.
