HUNDREDS of farmers from across the island gathered at Stormont on Monday to protest over the controversial culling of 51 cattle near Clogher. The protest took place as a meeting was held inside Stormont with the Committee for Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs. Many farmers travelled to Stormont by tractor, with a strong Fermanagh presence among those attending. Fermanagh farming social media influencer ‘Farm With Jack’ also addressed the crowd, praising the number of people from the county who had travelled to Stormont. “I’ve travelled nearly 100 miles today and I’m so glad to see so many other Fermanagh people here today.”
