Fermanagh pothole crisis raises serious safety concerns
['Holly Mcfarland']
The Fermanagh Herald
THE number of potholes on Fermanagh roads is reaching ‘crisis’ point, with growing concerns over the state and safety of local routes.
Most recently, Cllr Greene said he had photographed numerous potholes on roads around Roslea after repeatedly reporting many of them over the past six months.
Cllr Greene said out of all 32 counties, did not believe he had encountered a pothole problem on the same scale elsewhere.
Cllr Greene has written to the Minister for Infrastructure asking them to instruct the Roads Service to prioritise pothole repairs.
He also raised concerns at a recent council meeting about potholes in particularly dangerous locations.
