Officials informed the meeting that construction work on the Kota Greenfield Airport is progressing steadily. Reviewing the project, Om Birla directed officials to ensure that scheduled flight operations from the Kota Greenfield Airport commence by December 2027. He instructed the executing agencies to complete all construction work by October 2027, allowing sufficient time for testing, certification, and operational preparations. The Greenfield Airport is being developed at Shambhupura at an estimated cost of Rs 1,507 crore.
