The 10th Circuit Solicitor’s Office announces a 13-year prison sentence was handed down last week to a Walhalla man. Robert James Freisel Jr. pleaded guilty to trafficking methamphetamine and possession of a weapon during a violent crime. Officers served a search warrant August 10, 2024 at Freisel’s home on the Adam Sullivan Road. According to the solicitor’s office, the trafficking meth second offense under South Carolina law is considered “violent” and “serious” and a strike under the state’s “three strikes and you’re are out law.
