Janet Smalley says she lives close enough to the Walhalla police station construction that she can hear the earth move. Last night Smalley led the city’s Partners for Progress during an informative presentation on the police station building project on S. John Street at Branch Street. Mayor Tim Hall, in last night’s audience, said that once the new police headquarters are occupied, the city will offer for sale the building at Main Street and N.
