This 1965 MG Midget is said to have been cared for by two owners in the Buffalo, New York, area before being purchased by the seller in 1998. An overbored 1,275cc inline-four has been modified and installed under current ownership along with a later-model four-speed manual transmission. Polyurethane suspension bushings and double rear wheel bearings from Winner’s Circle are installed, as are a stock-diameter front anti-roll bar and a replacement parking-brake cable. The seating surfaces were retrimmed in red leather with white piping under current ownership by Trim-Line & European Upholstery of Redondo Beach, California. The seller notes that the gauges (with the exception of the fuel gauge) were rebuilt by Nisonger Instruments, and the steering-wheel hub also has been rebuilt.
