Around midday, Israeli forces advanced into the Hawshin area on the western outskirts of the town of Mays al-Jabal in the Marjayoun district. Lebanon’s National News Agency (NNA) reported that the Israeli military carried out a large explosion in the area between the towns of Kfar Tebnit and Arnoun in the Nabatieh district of southern Lebanon. After midnight Sunday into Monday, Israeli artillery repeatedly and intensively targeted the Ali al-Taher heights, the vicinity of al-Dabsha Hill, and the Doha Kfar Rumman area. Lebanon’s Ministry of Public Health said Sunday that the cumulative death toll from Israeli military attacks on Lebanon between March 2 and August 9 had reached 4,335, with another 12,277 people wounded. During the current military offensive, Israeli forces have also advanced more than 10 kilometers into Lebanese territory.
