The Asian Venture Philanthropy Network (AVPN) launched applications for its AI for Good Fellowship 2026, a regional learning programme designed to build capacity of nonprofit organisations, social investors, philanthropic institutions, and ecosystem leaders to responsibly adopt artificial intelligence. Running from 27 July to 30 September 2026, the fellowship combines expert-led learning sessions, peer exchanges, practical case studies, and applied projects to help participants understand how AI can improve programme delivery, decision-making, impact measurement, and organisational effectiveness. The initiative reflects increasing investment in digital capability and innovation within Asia’s philanthropy ecosystem, recognising artificial intelligence as an emerging tool for advancing social and environmental outcomes. The networks portfolio remains focused around four thematic priorities – Climate Action, Health Impact, Gender Equality and Economic Inclusion – ‘activated through cross-cutting levers such as AI, policy, impact investing and faith based giving.’ AVPN’s 2026 Global Conference is to be held in New Delhi, India between 25 and 27 August.
