Parks and Recreation hosting Fire Hydrant Parties throughout August following the closing of public poolsLINCOLN, Neb. However, Lincoln Parks and Recreation Department (LPRD) has announced Fire Hydrant Parties that begin today, Aug. 10. LPRD will be hosting a series of Fire Hydrant Parties throughout Lincoln this month. The events run from 4:30-6 p.m. on Aug. 10 at Densmore Park, Aug. 14 at UPCO Park, Aug. 17 at Arnold Heights Park and Aug. 21 at Roberts Park. A Lincoln City Libraries Bookmobile will be at UPCO Park and Roberts Park.
