Mercedes is teasing its next high-performance electric model, an SUV that will follow the GT 4-Door EV due out later this year. The electric SUV will likely feature a tri-motor powertrain with over 1000 horsepower. Earlier this year, the company unveiled the 2027 GT 4-Door, which packs up to 1153 horsepower and is expected to replace the gas-powered AMG GT 4-Door when sales start later this year. The AMG GT 4-Door packs a 106-kWh battery that provides around 300 miles of range. The electric AMG SUV will probably be revealed before the end of the year and go on sale sometime in late 2027.
