The Phoenix Festival, a free community event, will take place on the Bank Holiday weekend, August 29 and 30, in the Abbey Grounds. The festival promises two days of music, dance, and family fun, managed by a team of dedicated, unpaid volunteers. The new Summer Food Festival will kick off this weekend, August 15 and 16, in the Market Place and nearby areas. Visitors can look forward to a variety of hot and cold drinks, delicious hot food, and other treats. For craft enthusiasts, the Heartsafe Craft Market is scheduled for August 23 and the same day will also see the Vintage & Artisan Fair.
