The Agriculture Act of 2026, also referred to as “Farm Bill 2.0,” included several top priorities for Wisconsin Corn, including language that would allow for the year-round sale of E15, or Unleaded 88. In response to the vote, Wautoma farmer and Wisconsin Corn Growers Association (WCGA) President Paul Jarvis released the following statement:“Today’s outcome is frustrating for Wisconsin corn farmers who continue to face economic uncertainty and need long-term policy solutions. For corn growers like me, the inclusion of year-round E15 is particularly important because it represents a significant opportunity to strengthen domestic demand for corn, expand consumer fuel choices, and support rural communities across our state.” We urge senators to work together to advance a bipartisan bill to support American farmers and rural economies. Time is running out with many more steps to go, and agriculture needs action – not more uncertainty.”
