The Starke County Convention and Visitor’s Commission will be holding a regular meeting this Thursday, August 13th. The Visitor’s Commission will discuss financial issues including current balances and claims for approval, and an update on the innkeeper’s tax receipts. Visitor’s Commission will discuss the electrical concerns at Bass Lake Campground with the County Parks Department. They will also discuss a public art project at Bass Lake and around the county with a representative from the Starke County Community Foundation. 2027 Billboard quotes will be discussed, as well as bylaws for the Visitor’s Commission.
