Darren Jones, senior head of maintenance at Hunters Care Centre, received the title for the Central Division in the Barchester Care Awards 2026. The Barchester Care Awards recognise staff who go above and beyond for the 14,000 residents in Barchester’s 271 care homes and private hospitals across the UK. Ciprian Groza, general manager at Hunters Care Centre, said: "This is an amazing achievement, and the whole home is supporting Darren.
