“Bangladesh hopes that India will expedite the process of extraditing Sheikh Hasina,” Shadhin said after the meeting.
He added that Prime Minister Rahman had emphasised the need to create a “conducive environment” to further strengthen India-Bangladesh bilateral relations.

The latest diplomatic engagement comes as both sides attempt to manage differences over Sheikh Hasina, cross-border security concerns and the broader future of India-Bangladesh relations.
