Singapore Airlines (SIA) has appointed Aswin K as its new General Manager for India, as the airline looks to strengthen its presence in one of its most important international markets. Aswin K is a 12-year-old Singapore Airlines veteran. Based in Mumbai, Aswin will oversee Singapore Airlines’ operations across India and lead its growth strategy. Aswin brings more than 12 years of experience with Singapore Airlines. Speaking about his appointment, Aswin was quoted as saying, “I am honoured to lead Singapore Airlines’ operations in one of the world’s fastest-growing aviation markets.
