A sheriff told Christopher White that "it doesn't make for great reading" as she outlined nine previous convictions directly related to domestic abuse at his latest appearance in the dock. The 44-year-old returned to Kilmarnock Sheriff Court last week having previously pleaded guilty to one charge. At his home address on Kilrig Avenue in Kilwinning, White repeatedly shouted, swore and uttered derogatory comments towards her. She highlighted that "this report doesn’t make for great reading", noting White's involvement in 39 domestic incidents involving three different partners and nine previous convictions aggravated by domestic abuse. Sheriff Fraser agreed to place the Kilwinning man on a community payback order as a direct alternative to custody.
