Reports about the Ford Mustang receiving two additional doors have been doing the rounds, and now, a meeting between Ford executives and dealers in Las Vegas suggests the car could materialize in a few years. The dealers, who were shown a prototype of the four-door Mustang, noted that the car was inspired by the Porsche Panamera in many ways. At the meeting, Ford showed the dealers an early prototype of the four-door Mustang on stage during the event, offering them an idea of what could arrive at their dealerships in a few years. Some of the people present at the meeting said that the size of the four-door Mustang was very similar to the Porsche Panamera. However, it will take a while before the four-door Mustang hits the road since the report states the vehicle won’t enter production until at least 2028.
