Special to IFNThe Mitchell Community College Paramedic Program recently hosted its first Night Simulations, an immersive training experience designed to challenge students in realistic emergency response scenarios. Held near the conclusion of the program, simulations provide students with the opportunity to bring together everything they’ve learned throughout their paramedic education. As the culminating event of the program, the simulations challenged participants to think on their feet, adapt quickly, and deliver patient care with confidence and professionalism. The success of the program’s first Night Simulations event was made possible through the support and collaboration of several community partners. Mitchell Community College extends its sincere appreciation to Mooresville Fire-Rescue, Iredell County EMS, Iredell County Rescue Squad, and the dedicated Mitchell faculty and staff who contributed their time, expertise, and resources to create an authentic and impactful learning experience.
