Authors of IPCC’s 2027 Methodology Report gather in Mexico City to advance report’s draft

- Advertisement -More than 120 IPCC authors are meeting in Mexico City, Mexico, from August 11 to 14, 2026, to advance the First Order Draft of the 2027 Methodology Report on Carbon Dioxide Removal Technologies, Carbon Capture, Utilisation, and Storage (CDR-CCUS).
The report is being prepared by the IPCC’s Task Force on National Greenhouse Gas Inventories (TFI) and is scheduled for release in 2027.
