Bidding is now open on the Fasig-Tipton Digital portal for multiple Grade I-placed Silent Tactic (Tacitus) with a 50% ownership interest up for purchase, the auction announced Monday.
Consigned by Justin Casse as agent for John Oxley, the bidding will close Friday, Aug. 14 at 12:00pm EST.
Silent Tactic will target the GI Travers Stakes at Saratoga Aug. 29 and is stabled at the track, where he is available for inspection.
“This is a very exciting offering, a fifty-percent ownership interest in a graded stakes-winning millionaire three-year-old colt that is Travers-bound,” said Leif Aaron, Fasig-Tipton director of digital sales.
“His prospective buyer not only has a ticket to the Travers Stakes, but several other exciting races down the road, including the Breeders' Cup Classic, Pegasus World Cup, Saudi Cup, and Dubai World Cup.
