Ted Allen Riddle Sr., 86, of Statesville, N.C., passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 8, 2026, after an extended illness. Ted was born December 13, 1939, in Iredell County to the late Thomas Franklin Riddle and Vivian Barkley Riddle. In addition to his parents, Ted was preceded in death by a daughter, Barbara R. Hutchens; three brothers, Alvin Riddle, Lee Riddle and Milton Riddle; and a sister, Nancy R. Tucker. Ted is further survived by a sister, Edna R. Souther, and a brother, Donald “Hoppy” Riddle.
