A man wanted in connection with the killing of his 70-year-old father, whose body was found after a fire at his home in Orange County, New York, was captured following a multi-day search, according to state police. Thomas D. Ryan was taken into custody by a New York State Police tactical team at about 12:10 a.m. on Sunday after a community member reported seeing him in the Town of Gilboa. The suspect was wanted in connection with the homicide of his father, Robert Ryan, whose body was discovered Thursday at his home at 512 Greenville Turnpike in the Town of Greenville following reports of a structure fire. The suspect had been living a transient lifestyle and previously stayed at shelters across New York City, Long Island and northern New York, according to police.
