NEWTON, IOWA – Ty Gibbs outdueled Ryan Blaney and Christopher Bell to secure his second victory of his NASCAR Cup Series career in the Iowa Corn 350 Powered by Ethanol at Iowa Speedway. Gibbs celebrated the win with his mother, Heather Gibbs, and his grandfather, team owner and legendary Washington Redskins coach, Joe Gibbs. After a 19th place finish in the standings last season, Ty Gibbs now sits in second place with only three weeks remaining before the Chase. Gibbs took the checkered flag to secure his second career victory. After the race, Gibbs was given the honor of breaking ground on the new re-pave coming to Iowa Speedway in 2027.
