The designs are based on the 1988 Sega Mega Drive, also known as the Sega Genesis in some regions, the 1994 Sega Saturn, and the 1998 Sega Dreamcast. The Sega Saturn and Dreamcast logos are positioned at the 12 o’clock mark, while the Mega Drive model features more subtle lettering on the bezel. The packaging design is modeled after the box of the respective game console.
