Malta-based singer-songwriter Claire Cordina is set to release her second EP, Sunflowers, at the start of 2027, following a period of artistic growth that has seen her music reach audiences beyond Malta. Recorded and produced by Jimmy Bartolo, who also contributes guitars, with Luke Briffa on drums, Sunflowers explores themes of loss, memory, motherhood and inheritance. This sense of inheritance is reflected in the EP’s title, Sunflowers − a flower traditionally associated with loyalty, devotion and enduring love. The forthcoming release follows Claire’s debut EP, Do Trees Get Tired of Standing Still?, released in May 2025. In December 2025, she was invited to perform at the live music series Sofar Sounds in Budapest and Debrecen in Hungary.
