Participants heard from experienced leaders about the importance of leading with integrity, being adaptable and making decisions that reflect NPHC sorority values. Justice Shaw, president of NIU’s Delta Omicron Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., attended the organization’s international Boule in Las Vegas. Members of NIU’s Eta Delta Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., also represented the university at the organization’s Grand Boule in Nashville. Participating in national professional and leadership development opportunities like these is a proud tradition for Huskie leaders, Gerentes said.
