Hyatt Regency Chicago completed the final phase of a multiyear, $200 million renovation. The three-phase renovation tapped all 2,032 guest rooms and three ballroom spaces: the Regency Ballroom, Grand Ballroom and Crystal Ballroom. The 9,853-square-foot Crystal Ballroom is accompanied by an outdoor terrace that offers views of the downtown skyline and Chicago River. The Willow offers lounge seating and a new screened-in porch, while The Outpost offers complimentary outdoor gear for hiking, yoga, etc. The 601-room JW Marriott Detroit Water Square is set to open in 2027.
