Stalled farm bill spotlights ag woes and state budget strain

Senate Ag Chairman John Boozman’s proposed farm bill failed to get enough votes due in part to Sen. Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., being absent because of health issues.
“For Colorado, this bill would be a devastating blow to our already strained budget,” Bennet said in a statement after the farm bill vote.
