MP Cabinet Approves Rs 1,757 Crore Bhopal-Vidisha Road Project

Bhopal: The Madhya Pradesh Cabinet, chaired by Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, on Tuesday approved several development and public welfare measures, including Rs 1,757.55 crore for upgrading the 44.83-kilometre Bhopal-Vidisha road to four lanes with paved shoulders.
It approved Rs 918 crore for the Joint Forest Management Committee dividend scheme from 2026-27 to 2030-31, with benefits extended to local residents as well as workers.
The Rani Durgavati State-Level Award and Rani Avanti Bai State-Level Bravery Award were increased to Rs 2 lakh each.
For healthcare, Rs 44,515.13 crore was approved for schemes including the National Health Mission and Ayushman Bharat.
The Cabinet also approved Rs 795.59 crore for Jawaharlal Nehru Agricultural University and extended the Dewas firecracker factory inquiry commission by three months.
