According to an Action News 6abc report, FX is partnering with 20th Century Television to produce a new sitcom, Wildwood. BAFTA Award-winning Derry Girls creator Lisa McGee is behind Wildwood, her first project outside of the United Kingdom. She serves as the series' creator and executive producer. According to Deadline, McGee's semi-autobiographical 2018 series Derry Girls was Channel 4's (Great Britain) largest comedy launch since 2004. Derry Girls aired for three seasons and scored Best Comedy wins at the BAFTAs, International Emmys, and the Irish Film and Television Awards.
