Dave Richards lands new club following Dundee United summer exit

Former Dundee United goalkeeper Dave Richards has landed a new club following his Tannadice exit.
Richards, 32, joined the Tangerines from St Johnstone in the summer of 2024 and largely served as understudy to Jack Walton, Yevhenii Kucherenko and Ashley Maynard-Brewer during his Terrors tenure.
The Tannadice outfit ultimately opted to take that off the table as the player chose to consider his options, amid family considerations and a desire to cement a No.1 berth somewhere.
United re-signed Walton and recruited ex-Ross County keeper Jordan Amissah to compete between the sticks.
Meanwhile, Richards has joined National League outfit Kidderminster Harriers on what is described as a “short-term deal”.
