A Dundee woman has reopened a hair salon she closed nearly two years ago. But, by popular demand, the 47-year-old unveiled the refurbished Fintry shop on Tuesday. Its next owner was Debbie Stevens, who recruited Kelly in 2008 and also inherited Pamela Taylor, one of the hairdressers at the reopened shop. “We also had a lot of elderly customers, who found it difficult to go elsewhere, so we went to their houses to cut their hair,” Kelly added. In the reopened salon, Alana Kennedy and Fiona Soutter will cut hair alongside Kelly and Pamela, who began working at Sophisticut 40 years ago.
