Island firefighters rotating in and out of B.C. wildfires

Firefighters from as far north as Port McNeill on Vancouver Island continue to head east into the B.C.
Interior to assist the BC Wildfire Service as it battles monster fires.
Fire departments from across the island, including Cherry Creek, are there as well, rotating crews in and out on the big fires.
The focus of some teams like Oyster River is now turning to the explosive Bald Range fire around Summerland as the BC Wildfire Service redeploys many crews.
Vancouver Island crews will continue to be on standby as the fires are likely to keep burning for weeks to come.
